Enhance your visit to the Outer Hebrides with a stunning tour or adventure to Mingulay, St Kilda or around the Southern Islands.
We provide access to some of the most awe-inspiring locations and sights along the West of Scotland. Experience our natural wonders from the safety of our boats or hop ashore to get closer still.
Welcome to Hebridean Sea Tours. We offer a range of trips designed to satisfy your needs, from gentle sightseeing to supporting more adventurous pursuits. Whether you are seeking the history of abandoned villages, the rarest of our sea birds or the drama of our rocky shores, we can tailor any trip to suit your needs.
Between 50 and 100 miles off the coast, nestled along the edge of the North Atlantic Ocean the Outer Hebrides and St Kilda Archipelago offer unique opportunities to witness wildlife, giant sea cliffs, remote beaches and to step into our cultural history.
Hebridean Sea Tours operates two boats from our base in the Isle of Barra (often referred to as the Jewel of the Hebrides) with departure points in Castlebay, Ardmhor and Eriskay. Each of our boats has been specifically selected to deliver the features of our particular tours, however our underlying goal is to ensure your safety and maximise your comfort.
The safety equipment provided on each boat meets the designated maritime standards required for passenger services. They each carry a life raft, floatation aids, VHF Radio, GPS Satellite Navigation and Emergency Location Beacons.
In addition to the equipment fitted to the boat we will provide all passengers with a suitable life jacket.
We never compromise on safety. All our crew are qualified for the services we provide and fully trained on our boats and equipment. Before commencing any tour, we will review the weather and sea conditions for the duration of the trip and ensure the goals of the trip can be achieved. All passengers will be briefed before we leave.
